HOORAY!!
Thursday February 09, 2006 10:20PM
So I did it. I am officially an Eagle Scout. My board of review was tonight with the scout office, and I passed. It's such a great feeling. Otherwise I have nothing else to write about.

Eagle Scout
Wednesday January 18, 2006 8:02PM
Well I've finally heard back from the scout office about my Eagle Board of Review. I scheduled it for Feb. 9th. Then I can have my ceremony and be done with all of it. It's kind of nice knowing that I don't have to worry about it much more, I know I need to pass the review still but I'm confident that I can do it.

Also, I heard from Mr. Neuman about summer camp. I have a job in outdoor skills for the summer. It should be a pretty good time. Hopefully I don't miss too much at home while I'm gone for 7 weeks.

Well I started new classes today. I've got chemistry, advanced algebra, band, gym, and french. But the weird thing is... I've got Bryan's algebra book. I went to put my name in my new book, and it was my brother's old one. I mean, what are the chances? I just think it's crazy.

Show Choir Competition
Sunday January 15, 2006 12:51PM
So yesterday was the first show choir competition of the year, and it was pretty fun. Except getting up at 2:45 in the morning to get ready to go. We did really good though, we didn't make finals but we got 8th. which is the best the show choir has ever done at the Onalaska competition. Apparently we were five points away from 7th also so that was really good. The pit band did amazing. We got 7th place out of the all the pits and we were one point from 5th, thats how close it was. It was a ton of fun. We played ultimate frisbee even though Mrs. Dunnegan said, "Put the frisbee away we don't want to ruin our voices if we make finals." Now I'm no Anatomy expert but I don't get how frisbee is going to ruin your voice, I just don't think it'd happen.

Carly got sick, which was kind of dissapointing but again Mrs. Dunnegan made the dumbest comment. Elizabeth asked how Carly was doing and Mrs. Dunnegan says, "She's sleeping now but I think the best the we can do for her is go watch shows." I almost laughed right there but I held it in. Later Kelsea said we should go watch shows, because Carly would have wanted it that way. It was really funny.

Book Report
Friday January 06, 2006 5:34PM
So last night I went to a wrestling meet in Clinton. It was the biggest waste of time ever. I didn't even get to wrestle, and I couldn't read much of my book. I was reading "1984" for TAG and it was due today. So I had to finish it last night. I was up till 12:30 reading it and writing the report. Surprisingly enough I'm not tired at all today. I actually have a ton of energy. I think maybe it's because wrestling practice only went an hour instead of 2 and a half. But I have a lot of energy. Tomorrow the team goes to North Scott, I'm not going because it's a varsity meet and they do not need me. So I get to sleep in tomorrow while they ride a bus.

Show Choir Pit Band has started. Hell Week is going on now, even though it isn't really a week. It's more a couple days this week and a couple next week. The first competition will be next Saturday in Onalaska Wisconsin. It should be pretty fun.

Today we turned in all of our registration things for next year's classes. I'll have a hard schedule. I'm taking band of course, Psychology, Advanced Psychology, Physics, Pre-Calculus, American Authors, Introduction to Literature, an Philosophy. There are a few more but those are the only ones I remember off the top of my head. It should be a tough year but I'll make it.

So I was looking over my transcript and I noticed two things. First, by the end of next year, my Junior year, I'll have enough credits to graduate, and only one more required class. Also, I noticed that my class ranking is #1. Yes, I am the smartest kid in the Sophomore class right now. I know there are a few other 1's but I am one of them. I think that's pretty awesome, lets just hope I don't screw it up and lose my 4.0.

Tough Practice
Monday January 02, 2006 8:55PM
Wow, that's all I have to say. Today's wrestling practice was hard. I don't know why it was so hard, I don't think it was harder than any we've had before. I think it might have been because of the long break. All I know is that it was hard, and I am so tired.

So I've now finished one of my books. I have to read one for TAG and one for Historical Viewpoints. I finished reading 'Freakonomics' yesterday and finished the report this morning. I've started reading '1984' and it's pretty good.

Well I go back to school tomorrow. I wanted a little longer break but it's alright. It was a much needed break. About one week until finals then I start new classes. My hard semester is coming up. Oh well.
